White Minneapolis Wedding

We were now really ahead of schedule due to hitch-hiking and not riding our bikes. After sleeping in Como Park illegally after the fair, we decided to find some friendly warm-shower hosts where we could store our stuff while exploring the town. The town was smitten w/ hosts and we lucked out by finding Bill who let us stay for 2 nights! We enjoyed commuting around town on the many bike trails and spending too much time at the Walker Art Museum/Sculpture Park and the fantastic Minneapolis library (this was the uber-library... a real beauty).

































Wedding Time! Kristi & Scott Lecocq were married on sat 9/2/2006. The week surrounding the wedding and the actual event comprised some of the best memories of our trip. We helped w/ preparations as best we could and then enjoyed catching up w/ old friends. Rachel would help w/ girly stuff -- wedding pamphlets, flower arrangements, mock bouquets -- while scott did manly work -- moved mulch, built things, mowed lawn (although Scott did sneak away to mall-of-america to walk laps and people watching -- somewhat reducing his masculine points).

The night of the wedding was smitten w/ craziness on the dance floor. The bride and groom got to sing along w/ the band and the old college friends danced like old times. Luckily, no one was injured...
